What it is & what you need to know

Auto settle is a feature in the terminal which allows the merchant to forget about the hassle of settling their machine out. 

We can specify a time, or no time at all, for the machine to settle itself out.

One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of places which require tips do not like to have an autosettle time, this allows them to insure that they have adjusted all necessary tips

Also remember that anything settling after 6pm will require 48 hrs to hit the merchants bank account

In the terminal

follow these steps for setting, changing, or disabling auto settle in an ingenico terminal : 

1. Press the admin key

2. Press the 3 key for setup

3. Press the F1 key to scroll down, then press the 6 key for features

4. Press the F3 key for next three times, and the screen should display autosettlement

5. Press the F2 key for edit, and now key in the autosettle time you desire. Once done press the green key to save.

This has to be in military time. 

To disable the autosettle, set the time to 0000
