Invalid Batch Sequence


What it Means & What to Do 

Terminal still has a pending batch from the previous day that has not been closed

 

 

You must confirm the batch has been force closed with First Data BEFORE changing the device ID

 

 

Once batch is closed & terminal updated, perform test transaction to verify

 

Clear the Batch

Call FD to have it force closed

Once closed, go back to terminal and Press Enter

In the Setup Menu, press the top left purple key to scroll down until you see Clear Batch

Press Clear Batch and you're all set.

 

Changing the Device ID

Press the Green button from the main screen

Press F2 for Setup

Press 386371 for the password, then Enter

Press the top left purple key to scroll down until you see Merchant

Press F2 for Merchant

Press F3 to Select FDMS

Press F2 for Next two times for Device ID

Press F3 for Edit

Change to any other 4 digit number, Press Enter

Press Exit and OK to Save
